All organisations should have Disability Discrimination Act awareness training for all members of staff. If you have not got this in place, then we can sort this out for you and tailor the content to the specific needs of your organisation. This is covered by the start-up course.
Legislation is amended over time and the DDA is no exception. It is essential that any training on disability issues is amended accordingly. If you do not have the time or resources to do this - we can help. There are 3 potential approaches: update your existing course; replace your existing course completely with a new course; or a merger of the two.
The format of the training will mainly be presentation, with written documentation. This documentation will also be available in Braille and large print as required.
The courses are set up in a modular format to ensure that the course can be as flexible as possible - to ensure you and your employees needs are met. This should in turn help your customers and may even give you a competitive edge over your rivals.
This will be supported by demonstrations of a range of IT products - either on a stand alone pc or on your own systems (in a suitable environment).
There will be on-going support in the form of documentation, providing future updates on legislation and providing advice.
This area includes a basic initial course as well as a refresher / update course. There are different modules depending on whether this is for managers or employees. In addition there are a series of modules for customer support. The are a number of courses under this heading with a series of modules:
