Are you introducing a new computer system or having problems accessing an existing system with an assistive technology?

We can help !

We can test new and current systems with a range of assistive technologies including: JAWS (Job Access With Speech); Supernova, ZoomText and Dragon Naturally Speaking. We can identify compatibility issues, then suggest and implement fixes.  If fixes are not easy to find we can identify and support work-rounds. This should only be used as a temporary solution until a more permanent fix can be identified.

To support this we can provide guidance and help for people to use the system effectively, in terms of training and support documentation.

We can also provide help and guidance for people who are developing new IT systems, as it is easier to get a system compatible in the development stage, rather than waiting until the system has been introduced.

We can also help you improve the compatibility and suitability of your training documentation, to ensure that it is accessible, equally, to all members of staff.

If there are any fundamental issues with your system, we will work with you, the manufacturers of your system, and the manufacturers for the assistive technology, to achieve a suitable solution. 

We also continue to work with the main suppliers and manufacturers of the assistive technologies, to help them improve their products to the benefit of all their customers.
